BACK UP!!
Today i finished decorating my 4th wall, i added shadows, switch board, painted window and add some lighting with the small 12 v lightbulbs on the wall, the lamp shades looks pretty gay but i don't want to spent to much time on it =P.
ALAS, im gettin there, almost finished 1 scene, which is my 2nd scene (i'm shooting my shots according to staging and lighting set-ups, because my 1st scene has a very dirty lookin stage, it has to be done last, after scene 3 and 4), i was about to celebrate thinking i only need 2 more shots to finish it, until i realize i lost one of my shot file when i was doing my editing...o.O NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I have made a back up but stupidly not fast enough, i copied everything on my DVD after i cleaned up my trash bin, and i accidentally delete 1 important shot, luckily Final Cut has cache folder with all the rendered files in it, i found the rendered file of the shot i lost, it's not original and the format is different but at least it's better than nothing... anyway...that was quite a scary accident...better be carefull next time =P.
Yes, im editing while animating, usually editing is done during post-production, but i learnt it's also easier for me to do it as i go, so everytime i finished a shot, i would put it together in final cut and see how it goes with the other shots i've done, sometimes there is a weird angle or the action doesn't work, then i know straight away which one has to be reshoot, it'll be too late if i noticed it during post-production. ^_^
final word: ALWAYS BACK UP!!! i did but not fast enough. My bad habit of deleting files is alot faster.
